| Made turns on the avy paths on Trimmer Peak today. There's still powder in protected areas, but there's a lot more wind crust! Thanks to whoever made the nice skin track back there. |

| Laid firsts down both paths today and then scored more good stuff down the 2nd shot ridge back to the Powerlines. Pow was Uber Utah light fluff over a firmish base below 8,000'. Above 8,000' it was.....wow. Amazing, cold, face shot, open 'er up skiing. Not to worried about others finding out about this former South Shore gem on the internet, as we counted 18 cars at the TH (including a school bus)! |

Talked to my buddy next door that got picked up by that bus, he was quite surprised when I asked how skiing on Trimmer went. Told him they were the all the talk of the Tahoe BC community. Ran into a few folks that I knew up on Talking Mountain yesterday also talking about it.
By the way there were only 4 on the Bus, think it was just the combination of a holiday weekend with pass blackouts and a freak of nature that a bunch of people all decided to hit it at once. |
