Hey I'm looking for someone to ski/snowboard MT Tallac with, someone with experience in the backcountry or Tallac specifically. Im going to be staying at Fallen Leaf lake between April 2-8 however anytime before the snow melts is fine too I just really want get Tallac under my belt and get some BC experience... I'm in good shape and am an advanced snowboarder and determined to to ride Tallac this season. I have all of the gear just not the experience (I ridden Angora Peak). I have read staying alive in avalanche terrain along with countless hrs of research online. I am just looking to learn from a fun safe day with someone who doesn't mind sharing some knowledge with a fellow enthusiast. If there is another forum/site I could find a guide or partners would help too. Thanks for the help

Hey brother, i know what it's like trying to find partners... Coincidentaly, i am reading Trempers book right now. It should have been the first book i bought. Seems to be much more relevent than the Avalanche Handbook, for the average backcountry traveller. Anyway, i generally have thur, fri, or wed, fri, to get out if you're interested.
